Event Permits

Since September 18, 2006, all permit applications for special events to be held on city property or affecting city property with 500 attendees or more will need to be permitted through the Office of Special Events.

(The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department [JFRD] must be the provider of fire and EMS protection at special events, including transportation, unless JFRD determines it cannot do so, in which case, the provisions of Section 191.113 (b) shall apply).
